crushed eggshells

Each order contains 2 oz of crushed eggshells and comes in a small glass herb jar. The eggs come from a local farmer, are completely organic, and are from truly free-range chickens. I clean and dry the shells, then use a mortar and pestle to crush them.

To use: Add these crushed eggshells to 2 oz of white vinegar and stir with a non-metal implement. They'll get a bit frothy. Wait an hour or so for the reaction to complete (you can stir a bit more if you like, but it's okay to just let it sit for the hour). Then you can add that mixture to a gallon of water, shake or stir to mix well. Congratulations, you've made a calcium fertilizer for your garden!
