Hand-harvested hibiscus petals, from my mother's garden. We harvest them and dry them ourselves. All pictures were taken by me, of the actual flowers harvested.
These flowers can be used in a number of preparations, including aromatherapy, tea, and oils.
Hibiscus is also great for DIY projects that need that pop of color, like floral decor and memorials (such as shadowboxes and the like), and even DIY paper-making, dyes, and inks.
*Quantity is in ounces. An ounce of hibiscus petals just about fills a quart-sized baggie.
